​Toddler Classrooms 12mos - 30mos
Our toddler program is designed to help transition your 'baby' into a busy 'toddler'. He/She will be guided through 8 activities a day appropriate for their particular age with the goal of successfully reaching developmental milestones. The curriculum offers a wide variety of sensory experiences as that is the way children learn best!

Nurturing your toddler in a safe, happy environment is a high priority, since children will learn when they feel secure.
We endeavor to create a 'second' family atmosphere for your child where you will feel comfortable and confident that
your child is receiving the essentials to prosper , grow & learn.

​Older twos Class - Potty training! 30-36 mos
​
The older two year class maintains a detailed curriculum which encourages following direction, structured play & concepts (such as shapes / weather / counting / imaginative play / correlating sounds & pictures / and more complicated language skills). Lesson plans are posted with daily activities, developmental objectives and Florida Standards.
This is the room in which we begin 'potty training'. Potty training can be a struggle for many families.
Our staff will consistently encourage your child through a routine that is part of the daily curriculum to master this life skill.
Good communication between parents & teachers is imperative for your child's success.

Three year old Class 36-48mo

TESTING NEW POWERS AND LIMITS !
This is typically a year of noticeable growth and independence! Thus, a challenging curriuculum is designed to meet your child's needs.
​
The three year room will place emphasis on social interaction, following directions and increasing attention span & focus
Detailed concepts like language & literacy skills (daily journaling), letter sounds, mathematical thinking(patterning, sequencing, rhyming)
will be incorporated into the weekly lesson plan. Developmental objectives and Florida Standards will be highlighted.
We practice using lots of open-ended questions to initiate communication between child & teacher. This helps your child use self-expression to then relate their own accomplishments and struggles they may have experienced in his/her day.

Two VPK Classrooms are offered for both 4 yr olds* & 5 yr olds.
Structured intricate lesson plans are carefully prepared to meet all VPK Standards, Developmental Objectives and prepare students
for the VPK Transition Checklist. The curriculum agenda includes Physical Development, Social Emotional Development, Language & Literacy, Social Studies, Creative Expression, Mathematical thinking, Scientific inquiry and Approaches to Learning.

The VPK Classrooms are busy environments in anticipation for Kindergarten, but maintain the 'play' concept for teaching & learning.
Much of our focus is on social/emotional skills to help children develop self-regulation, critical thinking and good decision making skills.
We are very proud of our success in this very impressionable year of learning.

have the added benefit of exposure to a VPK curriculum.
